Use your SHAZAM^® Chek card like an ATM card or use it like a check to make cash purchases wherever MasterCard is accepted.

Your purchase is automatically deducted from your checking account...just as if you'd written a check.
All transactions are deducted and listed on your monthly checking account statement.
It's great in town or when you travel - at over 9 million locations worldwide.
An ATM/Debit card is available to qualified applicants.

If you have a savings account only with Houghton State Bank you may obtain a SHAZAM ATM card to deposit funds, withdraw cash and to make balance inquiries.
At many locations you can perform transactions anytime you like around the clock.
You can use your SHAZAM ATM card all over the world. Look for the familiar sign of SHAZAM, MASTERCARD, or CIRRUS. They represent networks that are compatible with SHAZAM. If you're not sure that a machine will accept your card, the best thing to do is go ahead and try it. Chances are, it will work.
An ATM card is available to qualified applicants. Once you get in the habit of using your SHAZAM ATM card, you'll want to carry your card with you, everywhere you go!

You will receive your debit card in the mail in approximately 2 weeks. Your PIN (Personal Identification Number) will follow approximately 2 days after you receive your card.

IMPORTANT: You must activate your new SHAZAM Chek card at an ATM location before you can use it as a debit card.
