I am writing your Newsletter a little early this month because I will be taking time off to take care of “baby Aydan” (who is now 2 years old, by the way.) Doesn’t it just seem like the other day that I wrote in my Newsletter of his arrival? Anyway, Grandpa Keith and Grandma Peggy will take care of him 24/7 for 8 days. Wish us luck! I may have to take a vacation just to rest up after keeping up with a two year old! Boy, are we excited to get our hands on him. You know how fun grand parenting can be!
It is raining again today. We sure will have great flowers in May by the moisture we have been getting in April. Hopefully the sun will come out a blazing and all you mushroom hunters will have good luck. Wouldn’t that be nice?
May is such a busy month. First we have May Day, then Mother’s Day, then graduations & then Memorial Day. Whew! I am tired already!
We have a graduation in Shelby, Iowa and our son’s Master’s Degree graduation in Duluth, Minnesota to get worked in also. I will be out of the Bank May 14th — 16th.
Mother’s Day is May 10th. I sure hope all you mothers, adopted mothers, grandmothers and aunties get to enjoy your day.
Houghton State Bank will be closed Monday, May 26th for Memorial Day. We will open Tuesday, May 27th to take care of all of your banking needs.
